Our story began in the late 1970s with the building of ‘Adventure play’ for the art and music Elephant Fair Festival at Port Eliot in Cornwall. In the early ‘80s, from collaboration with Lord Lansdowne, there evolved the renowned Bowood Adventure Playground.

Since then, we’ve turned our craftsmanship to a remarkable assortment of innovative projects around the country and from our high-profile installations at the Glastonbury Festival’s Greenpeace field, our creativity has been in high demand.

Whether it’s a small private playground or an ambitiously big project for a school, local authority or major visitor attraction, we work wonders with wood. Our installations are more than a fun place for children to play, they are a challenging, adventurous resource that help with learning, problem-solving and confidence building.

Alastair Guy’s inspiring play environments are made possible through the extraordinary vision, experience and skill of our team. We are the people who turn grand plans into playgrounds.
